sv_cheats 1Enables practice-only commands in a private session. Start here before trajectory, noclip or give commands.
Private practice reference
Copy a focused CS2 grenade practice command list, apply it in a private session and repeat one throw at a time. The tool groups server setup, trajectory help, grenade give commands and quick reset actions so you can spend less time rebuilding the practice room.
01 / command tool
sv_cheats 1Enables practice-only commands in a private session. Start here before trajectory, noclip or give commands.
sv_infinite_ammo 1Lets you repeat a throw without stopping to buy or reload. Turn it off when you want a normal resource constraint.
ammo_grenade_limit_total 5Raises the total grenade carry limit for a practice session so the common utility set is available together.
mp_buy_anywhere 1
mp_buytime 9999Keep the buy menu available while you test a lineup. Use it for setup convenience, then remove it for a cleaner drill.
sv_grenade_trajectory_prac_pipreview 1Shows the practice trajectory preview for a thrown grenade. Use it to inspect the path while learning a repeatable release.
sv_grenade_trajectory_time_spectator 4Keeps the trajectory visible for a few seconds so you can review the release and landing instead of guessing.
bind v noclipBinds noclip to V for quickly checking a lineup from another angle. Choose another key if V is already part of your setup.
give weapon_smokegrenadeGives one smoke grenade for a focused lineup. Replace the item name with another utility command below when needed.
give weapon_flashbang
give weapon_hegrenadeLoads a flash and HE pair for practicing pop flashes, damage checks or a utility sequence.
give weapon_molotov
give weapon_incgrenadeLoads fire utility for a timing or area-denial drill. Check which item the current side and mode accept in your session.
sv_rethrow_last_grenadeRethrows the most recent grenade in a practice context. It is useful for checking a landing after moving to a review position.
mp_restartgame 1Restarts the round after changing server settings. Use it after the setup block so the next throw starts from a clean state.
mp_warmup_end
mp_freezetime 0Moves a private session into the drill quickly and removes the freeze pause between attempts.
Showing 13 commands
These commands are for a private practice session. They do not provide a competitive advantage in public matches, bypass server rules or guarantee that a lineup remains valid after a map update.
02 / setup guide
A repeatable room is more useful than a long command dump. Apply the smallest block that answers the question you are testing, then keep the map, starting mark and throw consistent.
Use a local or private server where you control the settings. These commands are not a replacement for public matchmaking rules, and sv_cheats 1 is intentionally limited to a practice context.
Start with cheats, infinite ammo and the grenade limit. Add buy-anywhere only when repeated purchases are part of the drill. If a setting does not appear immediately, restart the round after the block.
For a smoke, record the map, side, grenade, crosshair reference and release type. Do not switch lineups halfway through a comparison because the result becomes a different task.
Trajectory preview and noclip help you diagnose a release. They do not certify a live lineup. Recheck the landing in the current game after map or smoke behavior changes.
03 / practice workflow
The command list handles the room. Your practice note should handle the decision: what throw, from where, under which release rule and with what evidence that it worked.
Mark the same wall, corner or map prop before each attempt. If the starting point moves, a successful landing may only show that the setup changed.
Use trajectory and noclip to see whether the release angle, movement and timing match the intended throw. A faster attempt is not better when the landing is inconsistent.
After the private drill, check the lineup with current map geometry and an opponent context. For related practice, use the CS2 training maps guide and the site's crosshair placement drill.

04 / faq
Open a private practice session, run sv_cheats 1, apply the server setup commands you need, then use mp_restartgame 1. Start with one grenade and one map position so each attempt remains comparable.
For a focused smoke drill, use sv_cheats 1, sv_grenade_trajectory_prac_pipreview 1, sv_grenade_trajectory_time_spectator 4 and a temporary bind v noclip. Add infinite ammo when you need many repetitions.
Enable cheats in the private session, then run a give command such as give weapon_smokegrenade, give weapon_flashbang or give weapon_hegrenade. The Give grenades filter groups the common utility items.
No. They are intended for a private practice context where you control the server. They do not bypass competitive rules, change a public match or make a public server accept cheat-protected settings.
Check the private-server context, confirm sv_cheats 1, copy the spelling exactly and restart the round when a setting needs a reload. Commands may also change with the current game build, so verify the console response.
No. They create a repeatable practice environment. A lineup still depends on current map geometry, starting position, movement, release type and the game's current behavior. Verify it in current CS2 before relying on it in a round.
